ABOUT DR. ROGERS

Dr. Kimberly Rogers is a board-certified internal medicine trained primary care physician, currently serving a geriatric population in inner-city Philadelphia.

In an attempt to better manage the various acute and chronic co-morbidities of her socioeconomically disadvantaged patient population, she has adopted a strong lifestyle medicine focus into her practice, integrating sessions of dedicated nutrition and weight loss counseling for her patients. Her passion is to help patients recognize the value and importance of lifestyle modification and nutritional therapy as a means of treating chronic disease.

Dr. Rogers is a member of the American College of Physicians, and American Academy of Integrative Health & Medicine. She blogs regularly at http://www.prescribemeanapple.com, a site which features evidence-based physician curated wellness tips.

She currently lives in Philadelphia. In her spare time, she loves spending time and traveling with her husband and son, reading fantasy novels, and exploring other creative avenues like writing and acrylic painting.
