Qualin Harris is seriously one of the funniest and most entertaining people I know! Be sure to check out his IG page https://www.instagram.com/confessionsof_aserver/. Qualin uses his experiences in the restaurant industry to make some truly creative, laugh out loud content! I believe that laughter is good medicine and it’s good to laugh, especially during times like this where we are all dealing with uncertainty surrounding COVID-19 and the economic fallout of the pandemic. We talked about a whole host of different topics in our Fasting and Beyond chat (originally recorded on April 4, 2020):
We shared some tips that we both learned on building our brands on Instagram.
We talked about ways to cope in a COVID-19 pandemic world.
And, yes, we most definitely talked fasting as well!! I probed him on his own intermittent fasting routine. We also talked about how beneficial fasting could be in times like these. One important fasting tip that came out in our discussions was my recommendation we put a temporary halt of extended fasting (fasting for over 48 hours) until the pandemic is under control. Extended fasting can cause more stress to the body than needs in an already stressful time.
We wrapped things up by talking a little Ellen DeGeneres, Issa Rae, Saturday Night Live, Rush Hour, and In Living Color!
