FASTING AND BEYOND

FASTING AND BEYOND | EPISODE 5 | GRAPESEED OIL VS. COCONUT OIL VS. AVOCADO OIL VS. OLIVE OIL | Q&A

It’s time for another episode Fasting and Beyond! On this episode (originally aired on September 10, 2019), I had a full mailbag and, as usual, there was an excellent and wide range of questions for me to answer! Some of the topics discussed include the following:

  • I was asked for my opinion on sparkling water beverages like bubly and how they can be marketed as a drink with no sweeteners added when it’s obviously sweet.
  • Is 16:8 good for just maintaining weight or can you really lose weight with it?
  • Do you have to combine a Ketogenic Diet with intermittent fasting?
  • I was asked how I felt about the One Meal A Day (OMAD) Diet.
  • The correlation between fasting and LDL levels.
  • Do women need to follow a different fasting protocol than men?
  • Intermittent fasting with thyroid issues.
  • A follower asked me my thoughts on intermittent fasting and pregnancy.

One of the cool things about these Instagram Live Q&A’s is that I get to learn new things, too! A follower asked for my opinion on grapeseed oil. I knew very little about grapeseed oil until a follower asked me my opinion on it during the live session so I did some research after the session and gave an informed opinion on the matter that I added at the beginning of the video.
